What I Did & Results

  • Social Media Management: Managed Instagram and Twitter content for the School of Health Sciences, working closely with department leaders to highlight student success, faculty spotlights, and health-focused initiatives.

  • Content Creation: Designed and scheduled original social graphics, story content, and reels using Canva and Photoshop. All visuals aligned with the WSSU brand and contributed to increased visibility during enrollment and event campaigns.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Partnered with WSSU’s internal marketing team to maintain and update department pages on the university’s main website and coordinate key messaging across platforms.

  • Community Campaign: Helped develop and execute a local marketing campaign at Hanes Mall (Winston-Salem, NC) to promote WSSU’s healthcare programs. Produced social content and visual assets that were featured throughout the mall and shared on digital platforms.

Key Highlights:

Strengthened community engagement through mall-based marketing presence
